Animal Welfare Policy

We do not use fur, feathers, angora, mohair, silk, or exotic skins. Where wool is used, we require Responsible Wool Standard certification and verified mulesing-free sourcing. This is why we do not - and will never - use the following materials in our designs:

• All animal skins including fur, leather, and exotic or endangered animal skins
• Horn
• Silk
• Feathers or Down
• Angora
• Mohair

We do, however, prioritise the use of biodegradable natural fibres as we strive to select materials with the lowest possible lifecycle environmental impact, and as such are in support of using wool in our collections where strict requirements are met. The welfare of the sheep that any wool used in our products comes from is paramount and we expect our suppliers to support us in ensuring high welfare standards by only using:

• Mulesing-free wool
• Responsible Wool Standard (RWS) certified wool
• GRS / RCS certified recycled wool
• GOTS / OCS / Soil Association certified organic wool

We have a strict Animal Welfare Policy that prohibits materials associated with animal cruelty. We require all animal-derived materials to meet independently certified welfare standards.

Note: Vegan fashion products must contain no animal or animal-derived substances. Dyes used in production, glue in linings, or oil in machinery can sometimes come from animal sources. Many consumers want to know if a brand is entirely vegan, including trims, dyes, and glues, and therefore suppliers must inform OMNES of any products, materials or processes that involve the use of animal derived ingredients.
